Skin Cancer Doesn’t Take a Vacation.
Neither Do We.

And, we’re off!  Destination: Healthy Skin 2019 is well into its 10,000-mile journey to 18 cities around the country, where local dermatologists are providing free, full body skin cancer screenings. We expect to screen 1,500 participants from May to August, and thousands more people will benefit from early detection education and sun protection products.

Overview: We kicked off in New York City on May 13, with two full days of skin cancer screenings, education and giveaways before heading to Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Arizona. We will finish the month of June traveling up to three cities along the beautiful California coast. By the end of the month, we reach the halfway point in the journey, with more than 750 screenings in the books.

Highlights: Our Kid’s Corner, with its sun-safety education and fun activities is a big hit everywhere we travel! In Austin, Miss Texas International stopped by to get her skin checked and delivered a very important message about skin cancer early detection. It’s a message that seems to be spreading far and wide! Our event managers, Chad and Amy have seen a steady stream of people in every city, eager to learn more about sun protection and the early warning signs of skin cancer.
